The iPhone 18 is already making headlines. As Apple prepares its next generation of smartphones, various reports and rumours are already circulating about the future models.
One of the main new features expected is the arrival of the A20 chip, manufactured using a 2 nm process. This new generation of processor should improve performance whilst offering better energy efficiency.
For the Pro models, Apple could also offer an A20 Pro version, designed to provide even more power for gaming, photography, video and artificial intelligence features.
The camera features are also expected to be upgraded. Rumours suggest, in particular, a main camera with a variable aperture, allowing for better control over the amount of light captured and delivering better results depending on the conditions.
The Pro models could therefore continue to stand out with an even more comprehensive camera system.
Apple is also reportedly working on an update to the front of the iPhone. On the Pro models, the Dynamic Island could be made smaller, leaving more space for the screen.
The aim would be to offer a more immersive experience whilst retaining the features of Face ID.

According to currently available information, Apple could launch the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in September 2026, whilst the standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e could arrive later, in spring 2027.
Apple could also unveil its first foldable iPhone, which would make this new generation particularly interesting.
The iPhone 18 could feature:
